Gus is a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam. Winner of three Bronze Stars and other medals for his service to his country, he didn't know how to stop fighting when he returned to civilian life. He has suffered with severe PTSD for decades and therapy provided little or no relief.
Emmett is an adult male Doberman Pinscher. He retired from the dog show ring and needed a new job.
